The solar sensor from Schellenberg measures the light value in sunlight. If a certain brightness value is exceeded for about 10 minutes, the light sensor causes the electric belt winder to automatically shut down the roller shutter. Plants, furniture and carpets are protected from excessive sunlight and the indoor climate improves.
The roller shutter is shut down until the sun sensor is covered. After about 20 minutes, the roller shutter is moved up a little bit, so that the light sensor is back in the light. If the light value remains constant, the roller shutter is held in this position.

The tubular motor PLUS is a smooth-running and durable roller shutter motor with electronic end position adjustment and height-adjustable quiet-running wall bearing set. With a torque of 6 Nm and a tractive force of 15 kg, it easily moves light roller shutters up to an area of 4 m². The PLUS tubular motor is designed for the Mini roller shutter system and is therefore suitable for octagonal shafts with a diameter of 40 mm.
What distinguishes the tubular motor PLUS are, the strong brake and the maintenance-free motor with sintered gears. The end positions are adjusted, after installation in the roller shutter box, at the motor head by pressing a button. The extra-wide driver compensates for an uneven cut of the roller shutter shaft, and the special width of the adapter ensures that the force of the motor is optimally transmitted to the octagonal shaft. The tubular motor is connected to the power supply by means of a 2 m long, four-core cable. If the power supply is interrupted due to a power failure, the stored end positions are retained. In addition, the Tubular Motor PLUS has a blockage and overload protection that switches off the motor as soon as a blockage or an obstacle is detected.
The Rohrmotor PLUS can be controlled either with a roller shutter switch or a timer from Schellenberg. Optionally, it is possible to retrofit a radio control at a later date. This not only enables control via radio hand-held transmitter or radio timer, but also operation via app in a Smart Home System from Smart Friends or Schellenberg. The app is installed on a smartphone or tablet and can optionally even be used while on the move. Via the smart home app, countless control options can be realized and automated processes can be stored in combination with other smart devices.

The mechanical tubular motor STANDARD with 40 Nm is used to motorize a heavy roller shutter up to an area of 15 m² and a weight of 60 kg. It is designed for the Maxi roller shutter system and is installed directly in the octagonal shaft with a diameter of 60 mm. The end positions are adjusted mechanically with an adjustment pin after installation.
The smooth-running STANDARD tubular motor features a strong, low-wear brake and a maintenance-free motor with a high-quality gear unit with sintered gears. An extra-wide driver compensates for an odd-cut roller shutter shaft and the special size of the adapter ensures optimum power transmission to the roller shutter shaft. Thermal overload protection shuts down the motor in case of overheating, protecting the motor. For the control of the tubular motor STANDARD a separately available control element is required. For this purpose, the Schellenberg roller shutter switches or the Schellenberg time switches are suitable. The control of several roller shutter motors can be realized by using a relay. For installation in the roller shutter box, a height-adjustable wall bearing is included in the package contents. The power supply is provided by a four-core connection cable with 2 m length.
With the tubular motor STANDARD you have the option to retrofit a radio control at a later date. For this you need a Schellenberg radio shutter switch or a Schellenberg radio receiver module. The radio control allows you to operate the motor remotely, with a Schellenberg radio handheld transmitter or a Schellenberg radio timer. After a radio retrofit, the STANDARD tubular motor can be integrated into a compatible Smart Home system from Smart Friends or Schellenberg.
