The EX-1339HMVS USB 2.0 to serial RS-232/422/485 converter with surge protection and optical isolation in a metal housing provides 8 serial RS-232, 422 or 485 high-performance UART 16C550 combo outputs with 15-kV ESD surge protection and 2.5-kV optical isolation. It has been developed to add 8 more serial outputs with terminal block connections in a rugged metal housing for desktop computers or notebooks via the USB 2.0 bus.

The USB 2.0 to RS-422/485 cable with C-connector provides a serial RS-422/485 High Performance UART 16C550 output with 15 kV ESD over-voltage protection and 4.0 kV optical isolation. It was developed to add an additional serial output for a PC, small workstation or server via the USB 1.1 or 2.0 bus. The simple installation means that the computer does not have to be opened and the EX-2346IS can be installed during operation.
