Test results are stored in real time on the mobile device through the free AnyWARE Cloud app and can then be seamlessly transferred to the AnyWARE Cloud to create professional PDF reports. Previously, technicians had to know the individual standards, output powers and cable lengths of PoE to ensure that a connected device could operate properly. The PoE Pro detects - regardless of cable length, cable grade and other factors - the power class of the PoE source (utility) and the power provided to the PoE device (consumer). The tester is equipped with a tone generator and identifies and locates cables in conjunction with a compatible inductive receiver (option R180001).
It outputs a clear OK/failure result rating in accordance with IEEE 802.3af/at/bt standards. The PoE Pro detects switch data rates of 10M/100M/1G/2.5G/5G/10G to test switch configurations and ensure the desired network rate at the installed device location. In addition to PoE testing and fault diagnostics with reporting capability via the AnyWARE Cloud App, TDR technology allows you to quickly and accurately locate breaks and shorts on the cable.
