If you combine the wireless window contact with other smart devices, many other useful functions result: If you integrate the wireless window contact into an alarm scene, an alarm can be triggered as soon as the window or door is opened. Combined with a Schellenberg radio heating thermostat, the heating switches off as soon as you open the window. If the wireless window contact is attached to the garage door, you can check from inside the house whether the door is still open.
