Using the suggested cabinet delivers a particularly impressive sound pressure level of 95 dB (1 W/1 m) at a lower limiting frequency of 30 Hz.The large bass reflex vent minimises loss and flow noise. The housing is heavily reinforced to ensure good stability.

The ALTO III c is designed as a three-way column speaker with a total internal volume of 55 litres. The twin bass arrangement using two W 170 S 8 ohm drivers in parallel ensures extremely powerful low-ranging bass sounds, which are crisp and impressive, even with a hard-hitting beat.The 10-cm mid-range cone W 100 S 4 ohm takes over from approx. 450 Hz up and is mounted in a three-litre enclosure.
