The Battery protect is a unidirectional device. It only allows current in one direction, i.e. either current to a consumer or with current from a charger, but not both currents at the same time. In addition, the current can only flow from the battery connection to the consumer connection. When used with a consumer, the battery must be connected to the battery connection, when used with a charger, the charger must be connected to the battery connection.

Reconditioning (Wiederherstellung)
Eine Blei-Säure-Batterie. die nicht ausreichend geladen wurde oder tage- bzw. wochenlang im entladenen Zustand belassen wurde, verschlechtert ihre Leistung aufgrund von Sulfatierung. Sofern der Prozess rechtzeitig gestoppt wird, lässt sie die Sulfatierung teilweise wieder rückgängig machen, indem die Batterie mit niedrigem Strom geladen wird, bis eine höhere Spannung erreicht wurde.
Funktion zur Wiederherstellung von vollständig entladenen Batterien
Die meisten Ladegeräte mit Verpolungsschutz erkennen eine Batterie, die bis auf Null Volt oder fast auf Null Volt entladen wurde, nicht und laden sie daher auch nicht wieder auf. Das Blue Power-Ladegerät versucht jedoch, eine vollständig entladene Batterie mit niedrigem Strom wieder aufzuladen und nimmt den normalen Ladevorgang wieder auf, nachdem ausreichend Spannung über den Batterieanschluss aufgebaut wurde.

The Phoenix 12/375 VE.Direct inverter from Victron is a sine wave inverter with 300 W continuous power and 700 W peak power. The inverter converts the 12 V DC voltage of the battery into 230 V AC. Thanks to the pure sine wave, it is also suitable for sensitive electrical appliances. Via the VE.Direct connection you can connect the inverter with a computer (VE.Direct to USB interface cable required) or a smartphone or tablet (requires VE.Direct Bluetooth Smart Dongle).
