The Compute Module 5 extends the flexibility of the series with improved memory and performance capacity. The variants offer the option of choosing between wireless and non-wireless models and different memory sizes for different requirements. The familiar naming scheme of the Compute Module 4 is retained to enable easy identification and integration into existing systems.
Conclusion: The Raspberry Pi Compute Module 5 offers significant improvements in performance and memory options and is suitable for developers who want to utilize the computing power of the Raspberry Pi 5 in modular embedded systems."
The Mini Tower Pi 5 offers powerful memory expansion and efficient cooling for the Raspberry Pi 5. By using an M.2 NVMe SSD via the PCIe x1 interface, the case enables ultra-fast memory access and improved overall performance.
- ultra-fast storage: PCIe-based M.2 NVMe SSD upgrade for significantly higher read and write speeds compared to SD cards or external hard disks
- efficient cooling: integrated Ice Tower Cooler for optimal heat dissipation, even under high load
- Broad compatibility: supports M.2 NVMe SSDs in the 2230, 2242, 2260 and 2280 formats for flexible storage solutions
- integrated OLED display: 128x64 screen for real-time monitoring of CPU utilization, memory usage, hard disk space and network activity
- Optimized housing design: space-saving and robust construction for stable performance and easy handling
This case is the ideal choice for users who want to equip their Raspberry Pi 5 with faster memory and efficient cooling. Thanks to the integrated display and broad SSD compatibility, the Mini Tower Pi 5 is perfect for performance-intensive applications such as server solutions, media centers or edge computing projects."
You can power up and shut down your Raspberry Pi using the button integrated on the board.
Communication with the Raspberry Pi is via GPIO4, but this connection can also be cut by removing a resistor to free up the pin.
The ultra-flat design means that it can also be used in conjunction with many housings. The pin header is included and not soldered on to keep the design even flatter.
