It automatically detects a PoE (15.4 watts) or PoE+ (30 watts) signal and extends it by an additional 100 meters to a total distance of up to 200 meters (656 feet) from the PoE device. Since the device has a sturdy metal housing and does not require an external power supply, remote installation is easy.
