Since no personal data is requested during setup, the user remains anonymous despite the use of a cloud solution.
The Homematic IP window and door contact reliably monitors doors and windows via an integrated infrared sensor. This signals the opening of the monitored window or door leaf and sends a signal to the Homematic IP alarm siren included in the scope of delivery. This beats burglars into flight with a sound pressure of up to 90 decibels. In addition to the loud siren, two bright LEDs provide additional attention. The alarm is also transmitted to the residents' smartphones via push message. The alarm behavior can be easily adjusted according to personal preferences in the app.
Confirmation of the intrusion by motion detection can be made by the Homematic IP motion detector, which covers a detection range of up to 12 meters and a detection angle of approximately 105°.
