The SilentStorm SFX Gold 500 Watt is a ''80 plus Gold'' certified SFX power supply for high demands. It offers an exemplary efficiency of over 90 percent at 50 percent load and meets the strict requirements of the independent 80-plus initiative ''PLUG load SOLUTIONS''. The compact dimensions are 130 x 125 x 63 mm. Using the included ATX mounting frame, the power supplies can also be used in conventional ATX housings.

Thanks to the modular cable system, only the cables that are actually required in the PC are used. For the construction of modern systems, the 500 Watt power supply has two 6+2-pin PCIe power connections for high-performance graphics cards. In addition to the standard connections for the CPU and motherboard, the SFX power supply also offers four SATA, two IDE and one floppy connection. It is also compatible with Intel HASWELL CPUs.

The operating noise of the power supply is effectively reduced by means of the quiet 120 mm fan and is especially suitable for fans of silent PCs who do not want to do without a powerful power supply.
