The VizioGuard is a high performance system in the field of environmental monitoring.
Numerous connection and cascading options, along with web browser (HTTPS) configuration, provide virtually unlimited areas of use.
Up to 32 analog sensors or 16 ePowerSwitch devices can be connected directly to the VizioGuard.

The VizioGuard offers numerous application possibilities for controlling, managing and monitoring any environmental conditions.
Via the integrated web server, the configuration of up to 255 peripheral devices or up to 32 sensors is flexible and convenient.
Via the connection terminal with potential-free contacts, up to 128 peripheral devices can be monitored and switched by cascading.
Due to this modularity, the VizioGuard can also be used in large IT infrastructures without restrictions and, with its compact dimensions and attractive pricing, offers a real alternative to the integrated systems (DMZ, server rooms) of the respective providers.
The VizioGuard is delivered including the rackmount dual.
This ensures the mounting in the 19'' server rack.
In the 2nd slot, for example, a digital input module can be accommodated, which provides additional connectivity.

Power Distribution
As a pure environmental monitoring system, the VizioGuard does not represent a direct power distribution unit.
However, the connection to an ePowerSwitch is ensured via the xBus connection and immediate control of the connected devices is possible via the corresponding sensors (voltage tester, current tester).
In order to be able to guarantee a high degree of failure safety, the VizioGuard has a redundant power supply.
Certain peripheral devices can be additionally protected in this way.

Device monitoring
The monitoring of the connected devices is done by ping or scan command via IP.
In case of a crash, a message is automatically sent as SNMP trap, e-mail or syslog.
The monitored devices (up to 128) can be restarted based on defined rules.
With the VizioGuard, flexible and inexpensive solutions for the power management of servers or other devices are possible.
The areas of application are not limited to the IT environment.

Environment monitoring
Up to 132 sensors and detectors can be connected via standard CAT cables using the xBus connectors on the back of the device.
The transmission of the signals is fully digital and is possible over a maximum distance of up to 200m.
