The DC-8600 DUO is the next generation of DASCOM retransfer printers. The DC-8600 DUO is a card printer designed for high print quality and smooth processing. With a resolution of 600 dpi, it offers unsurpassed clarity and precision for detailed designs and vivid images. The standard model has an automatic card feeder for 250 cards with a card thickness of 0.76 mm. A print speed of up to 170 cards per hour and ink ribbons for up to 500 cards ensure not only fast processing, but also minimal user intervention. It is equipped with USB and Ethernet interfaces as standard. It can be managed using the DASCOM WebPanel via browser and its dimensions are 248 x 339 x 408 mm (W x D x H). The Evolis High Trust© KO ribbon is designed specifically for the long-lasting personalised cards in black and white. The KO ribbon consists of two layers: A black layer (K) for printing black text or bar codes and a transparent protective layer (O) for applying a thin protective film. The cards last significantly longer than cards printed with a conventional black ink ribbon. The KO ink ribbon is particularly recommended if a shelf life of approx. 2 - 3 years is expected. The consumables tested and validated by the research, development and quality departments of Evolis guarantee you print quality and reliability.
