EA TFT Panel - One family, same connector for all !
Who is not desperate about the different pin assignments and connectors of different TFT displays? That's the end of it for good! All TFT displays from the houseElectronic Assembly have an identical connection with 40 pins in 0.5mm pitch. Also the pin assignment itself is almost identical. A matching ZIFF connector is available as an accessory.

The displays have been specially developed for industrial applications and are therefore available on a long-term basis. The service life is 50,000 hours and the operating temperature range extends over a wide -20 to +70°C. Bright, high-quality LEDs are used for the background lighting.
Conventional LCD displays are increasingly reaching their limits when it comes to the operating temperature range. It is actually at low temperatures that the new OLED displays fully demonstrate their advantages:
• Full contrast down to -40°C
• Extremely fast response time at 10 µs
• No contrast adjustment necessary
• Unrestricted viewing angle
Thanks to its completely black background and active technology, the new OLED technology offers a contrast ratio of at least 2000:1.
The familiar 4-bit and 8-bit interface means the new OLED displays are very similar to the HD44780 standard.

Continuous operation without any problems
The new OLED displays from ELECTRONIC ASSEMBLY can now be installed in industrial applications, too. Thanks to the new, patented OLED technology, the displays achieve a service life of 14,000 hours (half brightness) — even at the maximum operating temperature of +80°C.
At room temperature, the expected service life is 100,000 hours and longer.
All key character sets from around the world are integrated as standard:
• English, Japanese, European and Cyrillic.
Precisely in the cold, eastern European countries is where the new OLED displays offer the perfect solution: full functionality including Cyrillic characters. Rapid display is also possible, even at freezing temperatures of -40°C. Cold temperatures also do not affect the service life of the display.
5 V and 3.3 V
The new OLED displays are at home in both worlds: single-supply operation at 5 V and 3.3 V without needing to be adapted. The power consumption is between 15 - 50 mA (typ.), depending on the display size. The maximum brightness is achieved in 5-V operation.
