Dual channel
The card has two ASM3142 chipsets each for one USB Type-A and one USB Type-C™ connector. This ensures the high data transfer rate of 10 Gbps on all ports when used at the same time.
Power supply
The PCIe card can be supplied with power via the PCIe connector. If this is not sufficient, the card has a SATA power connector. At the USB Type-C™ ports the maximum output is 5 V / 3 A and at the Type-A ports 5 V / 2 A, all ports together have an output of maximum 10 A.

Video output at USB-C™ port
By using the included cable, the DisplayPort connector of the PCI Express card can be connected to a DisplayPort output of a graphics card on the motherboard. Therefore one USB-C™ port will be DP Alt Mode capable. A monitor can be connected to this port in order to transmit video and audio signals. The maximum resolution of the output depends on the input signal.

The PEXUSB3S11 PCI Express USB 3.0 Card lets you add one internal, and one external USB 3.0 port to your PC through a PCI Express slot.
Featuring a native NEC PCI Express host controller chipset, the new USB 3.0 standard supports transfer rates of up to 5Gbps, while still providing backward compatibility with older USB 2.0 (480Mbps) and 1.1 (12Mbps) devices. UASP is supported in Windows® 8 and Server 2012. In testing UASP performed with up to a 70% faster read / 40% faster write speed over traditional USB 3.0 at peak performance.
At the same peak in testing, UASP also showed up to an 80% reduction in required processor resources.
