With the PEXUSB3S42V 4-port PCI Express USB 3.0 card, you can add four USB 3.0 ports with two dedicated 5-Gbps channels to a PCIe x4-capable PC. When multiple devices are connected, the maximum bandwidth is distributed across all ports with traditional Single Bus USB 3.0 cards. By using a second host controller chipset, the transmission channel is only shared by two instead of four ports.
