Designed for efficient enclosure ventilation
For the ventilation of PC housings, a large flow rate is usually required, but only relatively little static pressure is required. The NF-S12B has therefore been specially designed for maximum flow rate with minimum operating noise, in order to achieve the best results in situations with low flow resistance.
Bevelled Blade Tips
Beveled Blade Tips (beveled Blade Tips) reduce critical rotor-stator interaction and allow a larger blade surface to be combined with excellent smoothness. They thus contribute significantly to the excellent efficiency of the fan.
PWM IC WITH SCD
The fan supports fully automatic speed control via PWM and uses Noctua's specially designed NE-FD1 chip for this purpose. This unique PWM IC integrates Noctua's smooth commutation Drive (SCD) technology, which minimizes PWM switching noise and makes the fan even quieter at low speeds.
