Dedicated lines with a length of up to five kilometres can be achieved using the ALL126AM2 VDSL modem master in conjunction with the ALL126AS VDSL2 slave modem using a simple 2-wire copper cable.

In the case of short distances, bandwidths of up to 100 MBit/s are possible.

At the same time, analogue telephones can be connected and operated on the same line. Existing telephone wiring can also be used for data services with high performance.

With the ALL-MC116VDSL2 modem, ALLNET is launching a pure VDSL2 single port bridge on the market, which fulfills the basic requirement of a perfect point-to-point connection via 2-wire connection - typically a telephone connection - with all the advantages of a VDSL2 connection. The modem has both RJ11 sockets and terminal sockets for the pure wire connection. The additional option of earthing the devices (with the ALL95100 lightning protection) provides the necessary protection against lightning strikes in the area of application. Two Gigabit ports connect the modem to the network. The new ALL-MC116VDSL2 now also has an optional Gigabit SFP slot to expand the communication with copper or fiber GBIC modules if necessary.
