The internal AXAGON PCEM2-1U adapter enables the connection of M.2 SSD hard drives to the computer via PCI Express.
The smart design and ultra-compact dimensions of the adapter allow easy use in a computer that is not equipped with an M.2 slot. The card is also ideal for rack 1U servers and low-profile enclosures. The unique design allows applications not only in x16 but also in x4 and x8 slots.
The adapter supports the use of NVMe (PCI Express) M.2 SSD hard drives, single-sided and double-sided. There is no limit on the SSD hard drive capacity with the adapter and M.2 cards up to 22x80 mm can be used. Thanks to the PCI Express 3.0 4-lane interface, speeds of up to 8 Gbit/s can be achieved.
