Robla Solo MIL consists of a special combination with ammonia. These not only dissolve smears of copper, tombac and zinc, but also lead, the number one enemy for the precision of the weapon. Steel, chrome and nickel are not attacked by Robla Solo MIL.
Application: In case of metal deposits enter Robla Solo MIL into the barrel closed on one side with a cork or rubber stopper (available e.g. in pharmacies or household goods stores) and leave for several hours, preferably overnight in case of extreme smearing. Always fill the barrel to the brim. If there is less smearing, it is sufficient to pull through Robla Solo MIL soaked tow several times.
Never leave the barrel for a long time if it is only moistened with Robla Solo MIL. Otherwise, ammonia contained in the water evaporates and the remaining water in combination with organic salts can then be the cause of pitting corrosion. The barrel completely filled with Robla Solo MIL can be safely stored overnight.
Green to blue colour indicates dissolved copper and tombac, lead and zinc go colourlessly into solution.
Then dry the barrel several times and spray with BALLISTOL or Gunex. After the dry pull-through the barrel must be oiled, otherwise pitting corrosion can occur in the inner surface of the barrel.
