NOISEBLOCK PR2 - Noiseblocker BlackSilent Pro fan PR-2 — 60 mm 25.35 EUR "Noiseblocker is the specialist in particularly quiet fans. In order to achieve this, the company relies on maximum quality with low manufacturing tolerances and a high level of technological know-how with German engineering. In addition, the manufacturer also states that their technical specifications represent realistic values, which therefore cannot be compared with other manufacturers.

The BlackSilentPRO series completes Noiseblocker's portfolio with a range of models with extensive equipment. They have been developed in conjunction with the Hardwareluxx portal community and, as well as the accessories, they have been technically enhanced in comparison with the normal BlackSilent models. This means the BackSilentPROs have evolved into high-end fans.

The design of the frame and the fan blades is the same as the normal BlackSilent but the completely black design makes them different. However, the Pro models take the enhanced electronics (NB-EKA P2) and the optimised bearing (NB-NanoSLI) from the Multiframe series. This facilitates an auto-restart function, very low-noise operation and a very high life expectancy of 100,000 hours.

The fan's mounting system is particularly sophisticated and minimises transmission of vibrations. A large silicone frame ensures reduced volume. In addition, the frame has been designed for use of radiators, meaning it delivers optimal insulation as well as decoupling. This stops air leaking above the small gap between the fan and radiator where it can no longer help to cool.

Noiseblocker has even come up with something special for the cables. So the sleeved 20-cm cable can be extended using an accompanying 50-cm cable (also sleeved). Connection is via a 3-pin connector.

This is the 60-mm Silent PR-1 model. With a moderate speed of 1800 rpm, it achieves a very low noise level of 16.8 dB(A). At the same time, airflow is a good 29 m³/h.
